Auto-apply guide
Automatic job applications: how auto-apply works and whether it is safe
Auto-apply means a program fills in and sends job applications for the candidate. In Apply4Me you swipe right on an offer matched to your CV, and AI writes a CV version and a cover letter for that one posting. By default you approve every application before it goes out.
Prefer fewer, more careful applications? Keep review on: nothing reaches an employer until you approve it.
How does auto-apply work in Apply4Me, step by step?
Upload your CV and set your preferences
Choose roles, cities, work mode and expected salary. Your CV supplies the experience, skills and contact details that later go into application forms.
Get a deck of matched offers
Apply4Me searches 50+ job boards and company career pages, then stacks the offers as cards ordered by how well they match your profile. Each card shows the title, company, location, salary range and match score.
Swipe right or left
Right means apply, left means skip. You decide on every offer separately.
AI prepares documents for that one offer
It writes a CV version that highlights the experience this posting asks for, and a cover letter written for it (or adapted from your own letter template). Every employer gets different documents.
You review and approve
With review on, the application waits on a "Ready to review" card. You read the CV and the letter, edit what you like, and tap "Review and apply".
Apply4Me fills in the posting's form
The application goes through the job ad's own application form. If the form asks something your CV does not answer, the application waits for your answer and is sent only after that.
Track the status
Every application has a status: sent, failed (with the reason, such as an expired offer) or skipped because you had already applied to that offer.
Can I approve each application before it is sent?
Yes, and that is the default. "Review before sending" is on for every new account. You see exactly what the recruiter will get: the tailored CV, the cover letter and the answers to the form's questions. Only your approval sends the application.
You can turn review off in the auto-apply settings. Apply4Me then sends the tailored CV and letter right after you swipe right, and you will not see the final documents before they go out. The app asks you to confirm before switching it off, because it changes what happens on every card after that.
Which to choose? Keep review on when you apply to companies you care about most, when you are changing fields, or while you learn how the AI writes about your experience. Turn it off to save time once a dozen applications have shown you can trust the results.
How many applications can I send, and why is there a limit?
Pro includes 20 automatic applications a week. The allowance renews every Monday, and unused applications do not carry over to the next week. There is no separate daily cap: send all 20 in one day or spread them over the week. The 3-day trial on the monthly plan includes 5 applications. If you need more, you can buy an extra pack at any time.
One application uses one credit, and only when it is actually sent. A failed attempt, an offer that cannot be applied to automatically, or an offer you already applied to costs nothing.
The limit is deliberate, for three reasons:
- Every application gets its own CV and cover letter. That is work that cannot be done well for hundreds of offers a day.
- Recruiters spot mass applications quickly, and one CV sent to hundreds of companies rarely fits any of them.
- A modest number of submissions from one source does not flood employers' and boards' forms, so it does not look like spam.
Can auto-applying get my job board account banned?
The ban risk mostly comes from tools that act through your own account: browser extensions that click "Apply" on LinkedIn or another board from your logged-in session. Boards treat that kind of automation as a breach of their terms and can suspend the account.
Apply4Me works differently. It never asks for a login or password to any job board and never signs in to your accounts. The application goes through the job ad's own application form, the way it would if you filled it in yourself, with your contact details. On top of that, it guards against spam:
- It never applies twice to the same offer: the database allows one successful application per person per job ad.
- It only sends to active offers on boards whose forms it supports. The rest are skipped without using a credit.
- A weekly cap of 20 applications on Pro, not thousands a day.
- Documents written for the specific posting instead of one CV sent everywhere.
Which job boards does auto-apply work on?
We search 50+ job boards, including OLX, Pracuj.pl, LinkedIn, JustJoin.it, RocketJobs, NoFluffJobs and Indeed, plus company career pages. Not every one of those offers can be applied to automatically, because that needs support for the specific board's application form.
Applications are sent automatically through the forms of Pracuj.pl, Praca.pl and Bulldogjob, among others, and through the recruitment systems on company career pages.
How many is that in practice? In our job market report of 13 October 2026, Apply4Me could send an application automatically to 55.8% of the ads for 19 common occupations in Poland's 5 largest cities. You still see the other offers and can apply to them yourself on the employer's site.
What data does the employer receive?
The employer gets what the posting's form asks for, filled in from your profile:
- your name, email address and phone number,
- the CV tailored to the posting and the cover letter,
- the answers to the form's questions and, where the form asks for them: location, expected salary, notice period and links (such as your LinkedIn profile),
- the consent clause for processing your data in recruitment (GDPR).
Before you turn auto-apply on, the app's "What we send" screen shows all of this in one place. The employer or job board you apply to then processes it as an independent controller. We do not sell personal data. Details, including the list of AI providers, are in the privacy policy.
How much does auto-apply cost?
- Free plan: 0 PLN, no time limit, no card. It includes matched offers, the application tracker and a CV diagnosis, but not auto-apply.
- Pro weekly: 14.99 PLN, billed right away, no trial.
- Pro monthly: 39.99 PLN, with a 3-day free trial and 5 applications to start.
Both Pro plans include 20 automatic applications a week, a CV and cover letter written for every offer, interview prep and the iOS and Android apps. Cancel any time; access stays until the end of the paid period. The full plan comparison is on the pricing page.
How does Apply4Me compare with other tools?
Apply4Me is built for job hunting in Poland: a Polish interface, Polish job boards and billing in złoty. US and UK tools often have a wider choice of English-language offers and different pricing models. Frequently asked questions
Will the recruiter see that a program sent my application?
The recruiter receives the application through the posting's ordinary form, with your details and a CV and letter written for that ad. It looks like any other application sent through that form.
Can Apply4Me apply to the same offer twice?
No. One offer can receive one successful application. If you already applied, the application is marked "already applied" and uses no credit.
What happens when an application fails?
The card shows the reason, such as an expired offer or missing details. A failed application uses no credit, and you can retry once the details are filled in.
What about form questions my CV does not answer?
By default the AI fills fields in from your CV. When the answer is not in it, the application waits for your answer and is sent only after that.
Can I use my own cover letter?
Yes. Upload your own letter template and the AI adapts it to each offer instead of writing a letter from scratch.
Is auto-apply included in the free plan?
No. It needs Pro (14.99 PLN a week or 39.99 PLN a month). The monthly plan starts with a 3-day free trial that includes 5 applications.
Does auto-apply work on my phone?
Yes, in the Apply4Me apps for iOS and Android, on the same subscription as the web app.
